C. Michael Thompson is 25 year veteran to the financial services industry and joins Money Concepts after a very successful 12 year management stint at CUNA Mutual Group in the positions as District Manager and Divisional Manager.
Thompson founded and directed Brokers Training, a securities training school, to prepare candidates to obtain their securities licenses. He operated the school for over 15 years and is a well known speaker and trainer.
In 1992, Thompson joined CUNA Mutual Group as a Registered Representative at Oregon State University Federal Credit Union. In this position, Thompson was consistently a production leader nationally. In 1995, Thompson was promoted to District Manager and then later to Divisional Manager. Under his capable leadership, his Division was recognized as the “Best of the Best” in the CUNA Mutual Group. In 2004 Michael received the prestigious Ron Stone Award, CUNA Mutual Groups’ coveted award for a top sales manager. Michael has received numerous awards for leadership and in 2007, had the privilege of being the manager of the Representative of the Year for CUNA Mutual Group.
Michael has a passion for this business and is respected for his honesty and integrity. Michael lives in Oregon with his wife Gerally, and is the proud father of three children and four grandchildren.
