Clay Ford has served as the President of E.M. Ford & Company’s financial planning department in Owensboro, Kentucky since 2002. Clay specializes in working with businesses and families in the areas of retirement, investment, and estate planning. He was named manager of the Employee Benefits department in 2013 and became a partner in E.M. Ford & Company in 2014.
Throughout his career, Clay has focused on developing investment strategies with his clients that help them accomplish goals such as: building a steady retirement income stream, helping to pay for their children’s education or building enough capital to purchase a new home or start their own business. He also helps businesses implement retirement plans that encourage their employees to participate and remain loyal to the employer. Clay develops strategies that will help business owners transition the business to the next generation or new owners in an efficient manner. Clay’s financial planning services are an excellent tool to help the insurance clients of E.M. Ford & Company become more prepared for life’s challenges and opportunities across the board.
E.M. Ford & Company focuses on matching clients with the proper policies for their insurance needs, but their reach was limited to the insurance sector until 2002. It was then that the company saw an opportunity to help their clients find solutions to some of the financial issues that were discussed during reviews of their insurance policies.
Clay graduated from the University of Kentucky with a double Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Finance and Management. While still a student at the University of Kentucky, Clay had the opportunity to meet with several Money Concepts advisors and learn more about the firm. The company’s philosophy of independence, which allows financial advisors to find the best solution for the client rather than the company, matched perfectly with E.M. Ford’s approach as an independent agent.
Clay Ford has enjoyed a relationship with Money Concepts and the benefits that affiliation has provided his clients for more than a decade. The growth of his business has proven that the selection of Money Concepts was a great choice.
Clay graduated from the University of Kentucky in December of 2001 with a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Management.
Clay has been named to the Millionaires Club 2008-2010 and was named 2010 President of the Year in the Bluegrass Region of Money Concepts. The region represents all of Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Southern Ohio and parts of Tennessee.
